Fishermen's Way 2025

All the stairs were built on the outside from living room below to bedrooms kitchen up top

Today was a long one. We walked 35000 steps, whatever that is...We had a "break" in the weather with a few showers, mostñy a westerly wind to our backs. Looking back at Sagres

Today we walked from Obispo to Sagres. Rain, hail, lightning, 25mph winds...miserable day. JK loved it tho.

Jk figured this was another 10 miles. Here he is rolling an Elemental cheese slice with fried Wasabi treat inside. He has his fav Super Bock too

Our next town was Selema after Praia da Luz. Another cool little coastal town. The vibe is what you would feel if 50% of the people were staying temporary. Typical of Algarve

The town we spent our first night on the trail

We walked from Lagos to Praia da Luz. 75% of the people in Algarve region are outsiders: either tourists or very rich vacation homes. This statue is a priest wishing bom viagem to mariners.

We leave Lagos. Lovely town. Just a massive rain system due to come thru the area in the forseeable future. 

On the RedeExpresso bus (7hrs) to the start of our walk in Lagos. Beautiful spring day. We will get in around 2100. Probably grab dinner then and on to bed.
